Welcome aboard
The Korean Language Administrators' Association consists of administrators who work in university Korean language education institutions. The administrators are responsible for managing classes, student counselling, and recruiting international students. If international students want to stay in Korea for more than 3 months, the administrators provide assistance. Administrators assist international students during their stay in Korea according to school policy. This homepage provides information about studying Korean in universities including both under-graduate and graduate degree courses. You are able to visit the homepage of each university. You may also contact the universities you are interested in directly.
Korean Language Program
Lessons are taught by qualified teachers with masters degrees in “Korean Language Education as a Foreign Language”.

Four-semester or six-semester courses per year
  - more than 150 hours of classes per semester
  - Six levels of Korean language: 1st to 6th levels

During semesters, the language institute provides a room in a dormitory on campus after paying dormitory fees. In case of no vacancy, various types of accommodation around the campus are available. Please contact your language institute for further information.

It is highly recommended to get medical insurance in your home country before coming to Korea. If you are unable to get insurance in Korea, you should ask for help at your language institute. It usually costs approximately 200,000 won per year and the price is calculated based on age and gender.

5. Others
Most Universities provide Korean culture classes and programs to assist your school life.
Since Korean language programs are non-degree programs, scholarships or tuition discounts are not typically offered. However, some language institutes provide financial benefits in various conditions. Please contact your language institute to get more information.
